Cricket Betting at uuok — A Complete Guide to Betting on BPL, IPL and T20 Matches
Bet on every format of cricket, understand different markets and enjoy live in-play betting — all in one platform at uuok.
Three Formats of Cricket and Popular Tournaments
T20 Cricket
In this twenty-over format, results can change quickly. BPL and IPL are the most familiar to Bangladeshi fans. Odds take a new shape after every over, making T20 ideal for live betting.
ODI Cricket
In the fifty-over One Day International format, both strategy and patience matter. ICC tournaments and bilateral series keep ODI matches running throughout the year.
Test Cricket
In five-day Test cricket, a team's composure and planning are put to the test. A draw is a valid result, so markets are built around three possible outcomes — which makes them different from T20 or ODI.
BPL draws particular interest among Bangladeshi fans because the country's own franchise teams take part. At the international level, Bangladesh Tigers matches in the T20 World Cup, Asia Cup and ICC events attract the most attention. Betting markets for all of these tournaments are available in one place at uuok.
Beyond Cricket — Football and Other Sports Betting at uuok
Alongside cricket, uuok also offers football betting, with markets covering international competitions like the Premier League, La Liga and the Champions League. In football the match result has three outcomes — home win, away win or draw — so the odds work differently from cricket.
Cricket has no draw (in T20 and ODI), so the market is straightforward — one of two teams wins. In football, the third possibility generally pushes each team's odds a little higher. In sports like tennis or table tennis there is no draw either, so the structure is different again. Betting on a sport whose rules and team form you already understand makes for the most enjoyable experience.
uuok is not only sports — uuok Casino also offers live casino games and slots for a different kind of experience.
Popular Markets in Cricket Betting
Cricket betting goes well beyond simply asking "who will win". Below is a brief overview of the most commonly used markets.
Match Winner
A bet on which of the two teams will win the match. With only two possible results in T20 and ODI, this is the most straightforward market.
Toss Winner
You can bet on which team will win the toss before the match starts. This is a completely separate market with no connection to the match result.
Top Batsman
A market on which batter will score the most runs in a team's innings. With several candidates in a team, odds are generally higher.
Total Runs (Over/Under)
A bet on whether the runs scored in an innings will be above or below a set number. For example: betting on "more than 160 runs" requires a score of exactly 160 or higher.
Multi Bet (Multiple Selections)
A single bet built from selections across multiple matches or markets. If all selections are correct the return is large, but one wrong selection means the entire bet is lost.
Player Performance
Markets on whether a specific player will score a certain number of runs or take a certain number of wickets — for those interested in individual performance.
Handicap & Insurance Markets
Handicap betting is used in matches between strong and weak teams, where the weaker team is given a virtual advantage. For example, if Team A is given a +30 run handicap and they lose the actual match by 25 runs, they are still considered the "winner" in the handicap market — this is a matter of interpretation; there is no guarantee of any specific stake or return.

How to read odds — three formats
Betting odds are written in three different formats. Each format expresses the same probability in a different way. The two examples below will help explain.
Example 1 — Team A wins (stake ৳500)
Multiply the stake by this number to get the total return. ৳500 × 2.25 = ৳1,125 — this includes the original stake of ৳500, so the profit is ৳625.
For every ৳4 staked, you win ৳5 in profit. On a ৳500 stake, profit is ৳625 and total return is ৳1,125.
A "+" means that amount is the profit on a ৳100 stake. On a ৳500 stake, profit is ৳625 and total return is ৳1,125. If you lose, the full ৳500 is gone.
Example 2 — Team B wins (favourite, stake ৳500)
৳500 × 1.50 = ৳750 total return. Profit is only ৳250. Because the odds on a favourite are lower, so is the profit.
For every ৳2 staked, you win ৳1 in profit. On a ৳500 stake, profit is ৳250 and total return is ৳750.
A "-" means you need to stake that amount to win ৳100. On a ৳500 stake, profit is ৳250 and total return is ৳750. If you lose, you lose ৳500.
All three formats show the same probability in different ways — the numbers differ, but the outcome is the same. On uuok you can choose the format you prefer.
Live in-play betting — odds shift with every wicket and over
From the moment the match starts, the situation changes with every delivery. When a big wicket falls, the bookmaker adjusts the odds immediately. If Team A is building a strong score, their chance of winning increases and their odds shorten; if they lose wickets in quick succession, the odds lengthen.
The advantage of live betting is that you can make decisions based on how the match is unfolding. For instance, if two quick wickets fall in the first powerplay, the chance of the total runs going "under" may increase. However, in-play markets close quickly because the calculations change before the next delivery.
If you are new, start with pre-match betting before the game begins to build experience. After that, moving to live markets will be easier. For a detailed guide on betting, you can visit the uuok Bet page.
A few things to keep in mind before you start betting
Cricket betting is one way to enjoy the game — keeping that in mind makes a lot of things easier. A few points to remember will make the experience better.
- Start with one market. Begin by betting on simple markets like match winner or toss winner. Before moving to complex markets, it helps to be clear on the basics.
- Set a budget beforehand. Decide how much you will spend in each session before you start. Stop when you reach that limit.
- Understand the odds, don't just guess. Try to understand why a particular odds has been set the way it has. Reading the two examples above repeatedly will make things clearer.
- Be careful with multi-bets. Combining multiple selections increases the return, but one wrong selection loses the entire bet. It is better not to go beyond 2–3 selections at the start.
- Don't place a big bet after a loss. Suddenly placing a large bet to recover a loss is not a good habit. Betting is for enjoyment, not for adding pressure.
- Read the responsible gaming guidelines. The responsible gaming page has advice on setting healthy limits for yourself.
